Episode 1
When I was a kid I used to collect these Star Wars Micro Machine figurines and spent the next 25 years gluing them together. When Emmett was born, I conditioned him to never touch daddy’s toys, and he never ever laid a finger on it. So lately I’ve been reading him these Star Wars books and now when he walks by he says stuff like, “Hey that’s Darth Vader and Yoda!” Anyway, today I realized what’s 25 years of work if I can’t pass it on to the next generation. *sigh* Enjoy, tear it apart, I will be mourning in private.
Episode 2
I asked Emmett to help me re-glue pieces on my Star Wars model.
Emmett: Can we glue this man over here? Right next to the tree?
Me: No, no, let’s glue him where we originally had him.
Emmett: But, but, I wanna glue him right next to this tree so he can climb it!
Me: No Emmett, we have to stick with the story, you see? In Return of Jedi, he was over HERE.
